"Got my deposit back, no drama"
I’ll admit, I made a snap judgment and figured getting my deposit back was going to be a whole thing. But it was easy. They did the check, kept to the timeline they gave me, and sent the refund without me having to chase anyone down. No random fees, no back-and-forth. Relieved it was that straightforward.

Trash pickup here has been super easy. The bins stay clean, recycling is straightforward, and I really don’t have anything to complain about. I was going to act casual about it, but honestly—no, this is actually really nice and I appreciate not having to think about it every week.

I’ve been trying to use the resident portal to pay rent, and it’s been a mess. The site freezes, the login keeps sending me in circles, and when I reached out for help, support basically just told me to try again later. I’m not asking for anything complicated here, just to be able to log in and pay my rent—but even that basic request feels like it’s being ignored

Overall, my experience was fine, and I wouldn’t say anything major went wrong, but I did feel like the lease details could have been laid out more clearly from the beginning. When you’re signing something that important, it’s just nice to feel like everything is being explained in a straightforward way instead of having to piece it together yourself.

A few fees and rules came up later than I expected, and that made the process feel a little more confusing than it probably needed to be. I ended up asking a couple of follow-up questions just to make sure I actually understood what I was agreeing to, and while they did answer me, the explanations felt a bit rushed at times.

It wasn’t a bad experience overall, and I appreciated that they were responsive when I asked, but I definitely would have preferred everything to be covered upfront in plain, simple language. It would’ve made me feel more comfortable and saved some back-and-forth before signing.

"Stay was fine, but double-check the bill"
I stayed at The Cove and the visit itself was smooth overall. Nothing major went wrong, and the place was decent, but the billing at the end kind of threw me off.

When I saw the final charge, it didn’t totally match what I remembered booking. It wasn’t some huge difference, but still, who wants to deal with surprise fees after a trip?? I ended up calling to ask about it, and to be fair, they explained it and removed one small charge.

So yeah, not a bad experience, just a little annoying. I’d probably stay again, but I’d definitely check the receipt before leaving. Why not make the charges clearer upfront??

"Guest rules were clear and easy to follow"
I was happy with how straightforward everything was for having guests over. Access was easy enough, and the rules were explained before we arrived, so there weren’t any surprises. We did have to check visitors in properly, but that felt fair and reasonable. The only thing I wish had been a bit clearer was the guest parking info. Other than that, it was a smooth experience with no real issues

"The apartment itself seemed alright when…"
The apartment itself seemed alright when I toured it, nothing really stood out as terrible, but the leasing staff kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I stopped by after grabbing coffee, so maybe I was just noticing everything more, but they felt rushed and a little rude. I had to ask the same questions more than once, and even then the answers were vague. The place might be fine, but the whole interaction didn’t make me feel great about living there.

"Maintenance Is Really Slow to Respond"
I’ve had a frustrating experience with maintenance here. Whenever I reach out about something, it seems like it takes days before anyone even gets back to me. I don’t want to assume messages are being ignored, but it definitely feels like getting a timely response isn’t much of a priority

"Okay Stay, But Noisy"
Stayed here for the weekend. It was fine overall. The room was decent. Staff were nice enough. But the noise was a problem. I could hear people outside. Traffic was also loud late at night. Sleep wasn’t great. I expected it to feel more relaxing by the lake. Not a terrible stay, but I wish it had been quieter.

"Pet-Friendly, But I Felt a Little Awkward"
I was glad they allowed pets because that’s always a big plus for us, but i felt a little embarrassed once we started going over all the fees and rules. It just felt like a lot to keep track of, and I kept worrying we were going to mess something up. Nice that pets are welcome, but it ended up being more stressful than I expected.

I’ve had a really frustrating experience with the property management team. Getting a response from them feels like pulling teeth, and even when issues are brought up, nothing really changes. I understand things can get busy, but basic communication is part of the job. They need to take accountability and actually follow through instead of leaving residents in the dark.

"Getting there was such a hassle"
Getting in and out was frustrating. The roads around it were kind of confusing, traffic was backed up really bad, and it took way longer than I expected just to leave. For me, it wasnt really worth the headache.

"A Tiny Fortress When I Come Home Late"
Coming home late used to stress me out, but here it feels way more peaceful. The lighting is solid, the neighbors seem genuinely nice, and most nights the whole area is so quiet it feels like the world has hit pause. I’m not saying it’s a magical castle, but it does feel safe

The apartment was clean when I moved in, especially compared to other places I’ve rented before. The kitchen and bathroom both looked good, which was a relief. There was a little dust on the blinds, but that felt minor. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Parking was just easy and stress free"
We stayed here for the weekend, the parking was just one of the easiest parts of the whole trip.
There was plenty of space when we arrived, so we didn’t have to keep circling around or park way off somewhere, which was such a relief with bags and kids in tow.

I really appreciated just not having to think about the car the whole time we were there. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Good value for a lakefront spot"
I thought the price was reasonable for being right on the lake. It definitely was not the cheapest option around, but it also did not feel outrageously expensive or like they were just charging a premium for the view and nothing else. For the location, I felt like the overall value made sense.
What I liked most was that it felt like you were paying for something you could actually enjoy. Being near the water made the whole experience feel a little more relaxing, and I did not leave feeling like I had overpaid, which is always a good sign. It had that nice middle-ground feeling where it was not a bargain basement deal, but still fair enough for what you get.
I would probably give it 4 stars overall. My only small complaint is that a few of the fees or prices could have been explained a bit more clearly upfront, because little add-ons can be annoying when you are trying to budget. Still, after everything, I would say it was worth it and I would consider going back.

"Overall, it’s a nice spot, but..."
Overall, it’s a nice spot, but I was a little let down by how the grounds looked. The lawn and flower beds seemed neglected, and there was trash along the paths that sat there for a few days. Compared to some similar places I’ve stayed at, the outdoor upkeep just wasn’t on the same level. It didn’t ruin the visit, but it definitely made the place feel less cared for than it could.

"When I first moved in, I noticed..."
When I first moved in, I noticed a roach issue quickly, mostly around the kitchen and bathroom, which was frustrating because you just want to feel settled, you know? I submitted a request and they did eventually send pest control out, but it took a few days and I had to check back in before anything really happened.
Things are definitely better now, so I’ll give them credit for that, but it’s not completely handled yet. The staff I talked to was nice enough and didn’t give me a hard time, I just wish pest control was more consistent or scheduled more regularly so it didn’t feel like I had to keep pushing. For now, I’d say 3 stars.
